The San Francisco Chronicle's Henry Knorr writes about the growing problem of e-waste. What should people do with all their old computers?!?! (Hint: why not give them to projects like ours... !?!?!) A2T is listed on the Electronic Industries Alliance national website, which is mentioned in the article.
Dana Hull, from The San Jose Mercury News visited our Westlake Middle School Project. Students were busy working on Take-Home Computers. But, they did stop to answer a few questions about what they get out of participating in the project.
Yahoo! Finance and Reuters featured Peter Henderson's interview with A2T Student Leader, Patrick Tysell. This article gives an in depth perspective on the project from a former student who now teaches younger children.
A2T presented the project at Macworld San Francisco 2001! It was a huge opportunity for the project and we were very honored to be included. Staff and students answered questions directly from the many interested visitors to the world's best Macintosh showcase!
The 2000 Alameda County Fair was lots of fun! Visitors from all over The Bay Area stopped by our booth.
